Install LiveCD mPlayer on an Asus EEE PC

- format the USB stick in msdos/vfat
- download and extract the file 
  cdmplayer-rx.tar
- make the stick bootable by running 
  (from linux) /boot/bootinst.sh
- make the stick bootable by running 
  (from windows) /boot/bootinst.bat

Press ESC during boot to modify the BIOS boot order. Select Booting from USB device.

The new cdmplayer-rx.tar includes the driver for the built-in ethernet port of the eeepc. Also includes the patched madwifi driver and support for additional USB ethernet cards.
